Yeh, but the finish against a very good keeper was top class, regardless of Karl Henry passing him the ball.

He was shocking for that third goal: rooted to the post. He's not risking himself getting an injury for QPR. Taking the piss on a massive wage that feller.

You do have to question his decision making for the third, yes. But, Julio Cesar is still a very good goalkeeper and is Brazils first choice.

Karl Henry's pass for his first goal.

That'll never happen again in a month of Sunday's.

The lad looked good against QPR, but they were honestly the worst opposition I've seen at Goodison since...wait for it...QPR last season.

This. He didn't exactly put it on a plate for him and he's been missing far simpler chances. Maybe he just plays better in even years ie. when there's an international tournament coming up.

Ok. I did not know this tiger. But Nikica Jelavic is a tiger also.

Yes I agree. Jelavic is a sleeping tiger who woke up in a January when the alarm went off.

Tony Montanta's wife? is she a tiger?

For a player in his first full season as a starter mate at his age, ten days isn't a massive rest, i'd honestly rather rest him against norwich at goodsion where we should have more than enough to deal with without him, and get him back fully rested and fresh for the upcoming west brom and rs game where we need him to be at full tilt

Better yet, start Jelavic against Norwhich and keep Lukaku on the bench. If we're not winning by 2 or 3 in the 65th minute, bring Lukaku on. After chasing Jelavic around for that long, it'll be a really difficult adjustment to mark Lukaku, who can't move as quickly from a standstill but will outmuscle them for every 50-50 ball

Despite everything I find myself rooting for Jela. Yes, he's been badly gash for a year but he hasn't had a proper chance under the rip-roaring Martinez. I fear his brace on Saturday was too little too late.

play em both, lukakau could do what adebayor is doing for tottneham in a kind of number 10 role holding the ball up, be intersting at least

I still love Jela, despite him being sh!te too.

But seriously, if the money's right, get shut and bring in another striker.

For anyone who still wants Jelavic to stay.

YOu are the definition of an Evertonain. Back your players no matter what as long as they wear the blue shirt.

Anyone who wants to get rid, you have common sense and want whats best for the club, also the defenition of an evertonian.

No league goals since March 2013.

Please stay "Jela". We could have a crack at the CL spots if we replace you, but we're not arsed. It's great that you scored those goals two years ago. That's enough. In fact, have a contract extension and a pay rise.
