Was all for the prem when he was a no mark at Split. Sounds like he doesn’t like a bit of its work. Wouldn’t touch the starting line up currently anyway.

If he keeps his form up wed be looking at £20-25mil. Id hope that we can bring him back into the fold but he mentions not enjoying the defensive side which is quite crucial in terms of how we play.

I don’t think he’d get near the side.

People saying he’s scored v Real Madrid in the CL, but then as was pointed out to me, Shrokdan Mustafi has won the World Cup and is crap.

One swallow doesn’t make a summer etc.

He got shown up badly in this league. He's in the same bracket as Klaassen for me - it doesn't matter if you're a decent player in another league if you're not a decent player here.

He did the square sum of nothing at Everton.

Havent seen him live, just the highlights...

But i thought he would make a very good central player if he added some nous and tackling etc to his game.

I've managed to catch a few games; league and CL, and I love him. I can't see us keeping him but I think one day he'll be a really good player.

Prefer him to keep his mouth shut but only arsed about him doing well on loan so we can make as much profit on him as possible. If he does well he may well be at a top 6 club in France, Turkey or Russia next year.
