i'd be fine with getting rid if he doesn't want to be here and brands can get a decent fee for him, but i don't see the point of actively trying to sell a talented youngster like him otherwise

I fully trust Marco and Marcel to do what suits the club most.

pretty much, brands has only been here half a year and has more than proven he knows how to construct a squad and weed out players we don't want/need

Seen nothing of this guy to think he'll ever make it here. He's comparatively slow for the league, pretty much totally all one foot, shows limited desire to work hard and technically not anywhere near exceptional which given the aforementioned issues would be required to make it at Everton.

His performances for CSKA and Croatia despite the odd goal in inferior environs show nothing to change my mind. Yes I know he scored against an awful real Madrid despite playing poorly.

We'll make a profit, just, that's the only benefit.

Just because it’s a poor league doesn’t mean. every player is crap. Anyone can see Vlasic is a miles better player than niasse.

the russian league isn't even that bad, outside of the big 5 (prem, serie a, ligue 1, bundesliga and la liga) it's probably one of the better leagues in europe along with portugal. he's not exactly strolling around in the championship

Championship is better than the Russian league.

respectfully disagree there, i'm quite confident teams like cska, zenit and lokomotiv would dominate the championship. they'd probably be equivalent to higher mid-table prem clubs. the clubs near the top of the russian league have quite a lot of money and usually have decent squads. quite a competive league too, think there's been about 4 different winners in past 5 years

CSKA just lost to Plzen. Agree to disagree.

The Russian league is miles better than the Championship, you can't seriously think that the sixth league in the European coefficients is worse than the second tier English league? The Russian league has been on the rise in the previous years and there was always at least one Russian team that had a good run in Europe, something we couldn't do. The two leagues are just worlds apart from each other.
