I hope Silva takes the shackles off all our attacking players; tired of conservative football going forwards.

A lot of those goal conceded under Martinez came from player errors (inc the keeper) and from playing it around too much at the back. I'd like our new system to get it forward more quickly than we did under Bobby.

Spot on, although I don`t see him as a " starter ", more of a sub who can be given game time, so that he can get properly used to the pace of the Premier League, to bring him on.

I think how Silva handles both him and Lookman will give us a good idea on his attitude to young players with a lot of potential.

I cant see Silva keeping both players, and Brands has already said Lookman will be around the first team from now on so a loan for Vlasic seems likely.

Unfortunately, as @MarcelsGoat says, I think as it stands, Vlasic is more likely to stay.

There hasn`t been anything positive from the Lookman camp, about him staying for a long time now.

Hopefully Marco and Marcel can work their magic on him.

As with many of our newish players, I want to see them with a relatively positive progressive manager first before making any judgement on them. He has the kind of qualities I like, would be great if he came good, but at this point I haven't a clue if he will be any use. Ditto Lookman.

I like Vlasics physicality and what he brings to the table, but I do think hes very raw still. I dont think hes shown the same talent as Lookman yet, and would be best served by a year loan in the championship. The only way he should be staying on the roster is if for some insane reason we sell Lookman, but I cant see that happening right now.
