People seem to think our young players are either rubbish or brilliant, when in reality they're just young players that need developing.

We as a club need to decide whether we should be the tram to develop them, or let other teams develop them and we buy the finished article. If we do the latter, we will never be able to attract the top players because they will be outside our price range. If we do the former we have to accept that we will have players in our squad not ready to start premier games regularly,, but if we manage their game time effectively ut should not effect the team performance too much .

The players mate.

Used to be the teenagers would be happy getting a game here and there before they won a starting spot. They all want it now, now, now though so their agents can start phoning Mourinho, Guardiola, and whoever arranged for Barkley to go to Chelsea.
 
Hope this lad is used properly this year! Reckon he could be a good player for us sitting at the top of a midfield 3
 
Looked good when he first got here, but didnt impress in his last few performances. Still think he can do a job for us.

he turns and drives at defenses, we don't have a lot of that, he is still finding a position but I like the look of him, makes me weep that we actually had alladyce infecting the club for over half a season, losing vlasic and lookman could be the effect of that

In April would you have sold Vlasic and Lookman to ensure Fat Sam wasn’t manager next season?

Would be a crying shame if they both left as a result though.

hopefully they can be convinced to stay, out of the youngsters at the club I would say these two are the ones with the best chance of making it as first team players, they have pace and both want to play football in a positive way

We saw him doing that initially, but not in the odd minutes he was given under Allardyce. Obviously instructed to play safe. Hopefully there's no long term damage done and he'll be given the opportunity to express himself under the new regime.

I hope Silva takes the shackles off all our attacking players; tired of conservative football going forwards.

Just not unshackled so much we get nobbed like under RM.
