Non League Football

Probable fatwah coming when I say this, but I'm looking forward more to the Nantwich game later, than watching our lot on the snide stick tomorrow.

I have to go to Loughborough first to drop parasite 2 back off at uni (she's obv made up with me, getting her up at 0730 on a Saturday). All that ire just to get back in time for my seat at 2.40 for a non league game. Can't remember the last time I was that organised, or committed, for an Everton game.

Good luck to you lads today, need you to reel those purple idiots back in. (Then you can lose next week xo)

Widnes are in a funny position though with the game in hand. A draw could be a good result but it depends on how the other fixtures go. I think Widnes will approach it more cautiously than maybe Nantwich who are in a win or bust scenario. Linnets also go to Northwich on the final day which is a banker, so they might also see this as a must not lose, rather than a must win.

Just think Widnes have nothing to lose; need to win all 3 and might not he enough. 3 up finals and hope they make it!

Nantwich and Avro are, in my opinion, solely relying on Bootle to bottle it. Purps/Witton will take at least 1 point from final day so will he refreshing a lot today.

Huge game that Bootle one, it opens the entire playoffs should they lose today.

Funny you say this; considering giving up my Brentford ticket to go to Ashton next week with Marine.

Can't say I'm overly enjoying my visits to Goodison atm. Will make a decision tomorrow post Forest.

I'm the same; everton feels like inevitably gloom even if we win. At least with Nantwich you've got something positive to aim for! Again, hope Nantwich have a good run towards the end, shame only one of you can go up.

Off to Marine Vs. Atherton today, to enjoy the final Regular home game of the season, where a 1,500+ attendance is expected.

A point for Marine guarantees the playoffs with a game to spare, but a win with Worksop at home to 3rd place Warrington Rylands could see Marine leapfrog with a game to spare.

Should be a good game.

Enjoy your Non League Saturday all.

CoL one up at HT after a penalty midway through the half. NT started well and created a good few opportunities. CoL showing a bit more steel in this pundit's opinion.

Just seen they’re 2-0 up, they are on an absolute tear at the minute. Can’t stop scoring and winning.

Widnes 1-1 with Linnets going into the final half an hour. Need to find a winner with results as they are. So tense.

Beckenham won 3-1 to just about keep their Isthmian South season alive. Usual non league scenario. Lost the majority of players for more money in the summer and had a revolving door of chancers afterwards. Only had a settled team for the last couple of months.
