Enjoyed the game, unfortunate that Cables couldn’t take any of the chances in the second half.
Being able to have a drink in view of the pitch and not worrying about the result is a refreshing one

That’s how I started a few years ago, now I worry about the results !.Being able to have a drink in view of the pitch and not worrying about the result is a refreshing one
Official attendance for this was 747, not bad for a tier 3 teamMy team reached the last 16 of the Welsh cup yesterday overcoming our near neighbours in a local derby match. 0-0 at the end but we came out on top on penalties. We’re now 1 of only 2 tier three teams left in the competition…. Hoping for a nice home draw again next round. This is the furthest we’ve progressed in this cup for many a year.

By the process of elimination I am guessing you are a Holyhead Hotspur fan Kurt. I am a Connahs Quay Nomads fan who are having a really rough season due to losing a lot of there players at the end of last season and having a new manager who is taking time to settle.Official attendance for this was 747, not bad for a tier 3 team
Hello mate, yeah. We played Trearddur bay yesterday … everyone in Welsh football knows what’s going on with them packing their squad with highly paid players from all around…. But this is the second time we’ve beaten them this season.By elimination I am guessing you are a Holyhead Hotspur fan Kurt. One of the guys I go to Nomads with mentioned the situation with Trearddur Bay. Obviously I have heard of them but really don't know a lot about them. Yes Jay Catton is a good guy and is our Director of Football at the moment and been at the Nomads many years and our youth teams are still very good indeed. Nomads lost 14 players at the end of last season and brought just 6 in and depending on youth team players to fill the gaps left so was always going to be a testing time.Hello mate, yeah. Can’t honestly say I’ve watched much of Connah quay but many years ago I was managing our under 18’s team in the north wales cup and we came up against you guys. You had a very very good squad with one or two Welsh schoolboy players I seem to recall, and the manager at the time was a real gent, can’t recall his name properly but does Jay Caton ring a bell ? I could be wrong but I believe he later became involved with the Welsh schoolboy set up.
It’s getting more and more difficult to progress through the tiers now. A few teams are getting bank rolled, a small club like ours find it very difficult to compete with others near us to get players in. Wish you all the very best for the rest of the seasonOne of the guys I go to Nomads with mentioned the situation with Trearddur Bay. That is actually Connahs Quay Town who play at the Deeside Stadium. I support Connahs Quay Nomads who used to play at Deeside but now play at the Essisty Stadium in Flint. I wish Nomads would move back to Deeside as its a grass pitch and only 1 mile away from my home.@welshtoffee we play you next Saturday at your place, it’s one place I’ve not played at or visited before, looking forward to it
