There are most likely enough bomb shelters, tunnels, ammo and supplies for NK to dig in and make it a nasty street fight. They've had 60 years to prepare now. They have an army of >1M all of whom have absolutely no fear of death. Think Iwo Jima/Okinawa but on a massive scale. Also bombing cities into the stone age sometimes just gives the defenders a new place to hide (see: Stalingrad). Torching everything didn't really help in Vietnam either. They'd eventually lose but not after they've their mark.

Pretty sure I read somewhere that NK men are on average 1-3 inches shorter than SK men. Shocking statistic really considering they are essentially the same people. Quite obviously linked to famine present within NK.
Would they have the food resources necessary for a large scale war, as well as losing their armed forces, a war would surely bring result in a famine that would would eclipse the previos. Millions of NK citizens would starve.

Good points these actually. Having read a book on NK (someone on here recommended it, as it goes), pretty much everyone outside of Pyongyang struggles to get by in life. A shambles of a country who probably wouldn't be able to feed its army for a month if we cut them off completely.

Look at what's happening on the ground rather than the ridiculous statements coming from the "great vituperator" or NK propaganda agency. These ridiculously bellicose statements probably have more to do with something happening internally in NK than anything else.

I think when you have a people who forcibly or not (Japanese Emperors) revere the Jong dynasty as much the North Koreans do, i think they would pray for Armageddon just for the sweet release death will bring them from their already sh1tty existance.
