Northern Ireland majority catholic?

You are beaming with pride, aren't you?

So wait a sec? You'd rather we left South Korea to rot and allowed them to be invaded by North Korea? You sound like a communist.

Beaming with pride? Not necessarily but I'm glad we played our part in stopping an atheistic ideology communism spreading any further than it did.

We actually exported American Evangelicalism to South Korea and made their country into bunch of bible thumpers.

It's also a great reason why West Germany is far more into religion than the East.
I thought the God-less Communists destroyed religion behind the Iron Curtain. As far as i know they totally desecrated the Russian Orthodox Church and any other religions, almost a pogrom of sorts.

Again, you need to do some reading I think. A globalist agenda is fine if the best interests of people are a part of that agenda.
You`re having a laugh aren`t you! That`s a very big if, stop being so naive it`ll never happen.
What we are seeing now and have been seeing for a long time is Fascism -which in this instance is Governments colluding with BigCorp, and you`re saying that`s what you want.

On a serious note a catholic majority does not necessarily mean all would vote for reunification.

I delivered a project in an Irish language post primary school and as part of an agree/disagree exercise 14 out of the 15 pupils said they wouldn't vote for a united Ireland.

Reasons given were around access to free heath care and medication, educational opportunities etc. Thats a small sample but shows younger voters care less about romanticism and more about what will benefit them.

Not calling you a liar but all polls suggest the opposite but amazingly you've found the one Catholic school in the country where 93% are against reunification. Really?

And, further to my first point, I'm not sure it's all about the Unionist people either. Plenty of us in the republic have no interest in a doubling of our personal taxation rates just to make Gerry Adams feel more Irish. Who exactly is going to pay for unification? Until the economic realities are honestly addressed, all the sentimental stuff will be looked on with suspicion by people on BOTH sides of the border.

Shame on you. The pain of our ancestors should mean something more than whether you get an upgrade on your lunch money.

Just round all the Celtic supporters in Glasgow and send them to Ireland and send all the rangers fans from Northern Ireland to Glasgow…. Problem solved

Er send Rangers fans back to 1970s South Africa if we're wanting to really find somewhere for them to mingle and dance.

A United Ireland won't work. If it does ever happen, it's going to turn Northern Ireland into Chechnya/Dagestan and you'd have guerrilla insurgency every other week. The biggest issue with the Catholics and the Sinn Fein in Northern Ireland is that they don't practice true Catholicism; it's all a huge facade. Sinn Fein want to legalize abortion, pretty much allow all the LGBTQ rights an so on, and this is never going down well with the Protestants, who tend to be far more socially conservative.

It's genetics my friend. The catholics are brighter and more likeable. Face facts. Plus oh I don't know - how about a history of unjust persecution to be corrected? Did you hear of the chain of successful orange order theme pubs around the world? No. Because there's no culture let alone a workable historically accurate romantic story to tell. For that reason alone, this episode will play out in the global theatre and the US will give it everything to be right. Plus the EU.

Then you had people like Conor Cruise O'Brien, a Dublin born politician who decided to take up a unionist view and position on Irish politics, and joined the former UK Unionist Party.

Well done! The 0.001% southern Irish Rangers supporter who loves David Trimble has picked another Southern Unionist. Seems you can find two needles in the same haystack if you're really lucky!

You're equating globalism with fascism.

Can I ask you: what did you study?
