Nobody was lauding a 1-1 draw, on the contrary I think pretty much Evertonian was disappointed about it.

There was just reasonable blues calling for context and not using the Martinez thread as personal anger therapy, that's just for tits.

But I'll accept being a Barca hipster (@FCBarça you win man) if you accept being the banned posters @Bluenose1995 @EverBlue86 @Bally1960 @Big Doug and another I've forgot about.

Deal?

Havent a scooby what your talking about mate, all im seeing Is every other side in the leagues fanbase push up their expectations (see the mighty Norwich being booed off for losing to everton at half time) whilst our own fanbase who would at one time be up in arms if moyes never got atleast 7th suddenly be happy with being below tinpot outfits like Watford and West ham so long as we "play nice togger" which ironically at best is a good 45 minutes followed by 45 minutes of surrender monkey dross.

How do you spell Deulofeu (take note mate) and Semi's instead of semis.

Chances of that?

You've stalked Martinez and Moyes previously before that as well as trying to beast young boys from Ormskirk @FTY.

Summary: don't make me do this bra.

HAHAHA Awesome, saw Ash on Thursday in Sheffield, pub crawl Friday, then made the trip to Norwich. My weekend started well and went downhill.

As for Everton, in the past 6-7 games have followed a similar pattern.

0-15 mins, Everton play sublime football, go 1-0 up.
15-30 mins, we either score a 2nd, or get too cocky and over complicate things and miss huge chances
30-45 mins, slack off and have one token mistaken from someone in the back 4, nearly resulting in goal.

45-60 mins, Everton have a collective comatose moment where no one is on the same wavelength, usually resulting in a goal conceded followed by more stupid misplaced passes
60-75 mins, Martinez contemplates making a substitution, nerves start kicking in.
75-90 mins, subs are made, anything could happen.

There is something mentally wrong as a collective that needs fixing.

We need to play a game of two first halves !!!

100% spot on, tired of the Barca hipsters in our fanbase lauding a 1-1 draw against a relegation fodder side because we play nice football in one half of the game.

Give me a scrappy 1-0 win any day or even better a nice attractive 3-0 win with a solid defence which is something martinez has shown he's unable to deliver.

The choice isn't between playing entertaining football and winning games - the two can and often do go together.

Exactly how would you train a team to get a scrappy 1-0 win? I'd like to know! You can only practice to attack and defend.

If you can do this better than the other team, then you have a good chance of winning. So that's exactly what Roberto does.

and that's your defence for being a beaut?

Maybe you and your kipper wannabe forum mafia could actually debate rather than spend your hours slagging off fellow blues in trying to compensate for your middle aged failures in life.

I've pointed out every other fanbase has seen the new TV deal and expect big things of their team, whereas our fanbase has a group who hypocritically are happy for a 10th placed finish so long as half of every match we play nice football, something that moyes would have been criticised for.

Let's keep it civil lads.

And at least half of those fanbases with puffed up expectations are going to be quite disappointed by the end of the season. Probably best to wait till then to declare it a success or not.

But yeah, I can't speak for the rest of the forum mob but I'm sick and tired of my apparently untouchable fellow blues bleating like spoilt kids if the team under performs or doesn't get the result we all want. And I'm 25, so a little early to be compensating for that midlife crisis.

I think the frustration is that we look good in one half a game then awful the next, we can't defend set pieces and have dropped points in 3 games in a row now.

Had we won the last 3 fans (myself included) would be singing the managers praises so why can fans not be allowed to voice criticisms when the team is underperforming?

I think it'd be fair to criticise him if this season wasn't as hectic and unpredictable as it has been so far.
I don't think anyone wants 10th place and obviously at least 7 points instead of three is what we should be looking at. But we've been tearing the arse out of teams at times, we've hopefully had our fingers burnt sufficiently to learn to focus for 90 minutes.

How does the new TV deal help us to get any closer to the top teams?

Surely it gives the teams who appear most often on TV an even bigger advantage.

Or do you think that everybody will now finish in the top 10?
