It IS when you're goals to the good & end up looking like you could lose the game. And especially against shoitey relegation candidates like bournemouth & naaarch.

How can people expect even a europa place if we're throwing away points to the likes of those two? It's not as if our home form's bailing us out neither, is it?

We're easily in contention for a Europa place though as we're only 3 points off 5th as it stands now. I would say it's disappointing rather than any kind of disaster. A few wins and it's sound, similarly a few bad results and I would start to moan a bit. I would say It is a shame we're not taking advantage of the other top teams poor results like and it does feel as though it is a bit of a wasted opportunity.

We're running out of games and we have to travel to a lot of the 'top' teams in those games we've got left. The damage has already been done by not taking advantage against cack sides like watford, bournemouth and naarch.

100% spot on, tired of the Barca hipsters in our fanbase lauding a 1-1 draw against a relegation fodder side because we play nice football in one half of the game.

Give me a scrappy 1-0 win any day or even better a nice attractive 3-0 win with a solid defence which is something martinez has shown he's unable to deliver.

You could well be right mate, I've never been expecting us to finish above a Europa place TBH you have to be realistic but when the chance is there for us and we don't take it, it is as I said disappointing. We never kick on when we get the chance though so it's nothing new for me to fume about.

Because when all's said & done utd aren't under whiskeyhooter and haven't been for three or more seasons, and just about anyone can beat chelsea these days...

I don't think a Europa Cup place would be good for us this season. We need another year building. I think the pressure would set us back. Next year we will be better equipped to deal with more games.

If 6th got us Europa then 6th any day of the week. We play exciting football for only one half of a game the other half is frustrating and nervy defending.


Each to their own but I get more of a buzz at full time winning 1-0 and seeing us climb the table than a frustrating 1-1 capitulation with 1 good then 1 awful half.
