You've gone back to vault me about FIFA, found that you can't and have dragged up a conversation with @BlueToff in which he said we had tried to buy a player from Nice and I gave him the benefit of the doubt despite not being aware of it. I think this player was Plea.

We were interested in January and yes I was told we'd lodged a bid.

He's a very similar player to Sandro by all accounts so I'm guessing it was one of them that we never went back in for.

So basically what your saying is anybody would have done and you'd have been happy with the signing of the renown English international target man Andy Carroll.

Llorente could have done a job for us, though we may have burned some bridges with the Sigurdsson negotiations.

Your arguments are terrible sir.

There is a whole world of strikers in between the Top level Lukaku replacement you are banging on about and "anybody would have done".

People are expecting that our crack transfer management team would be capable of signing just one guy to lead the line for the season. Just one. That's all.

You are being remarkably facetious in trying to maintain that people are browned off just because we didn't get a top striker as good as Lukaku, which of course was a big task.

As has been pointed out there's a world of strikers out there capable of making a go of it in this league. Whilst it's fine to say we didn't or couldn't get such and such because of whatever reason, it is pretty poor that we failed on the main objective during this window.

We are left hoping a youngster and a newbie to the league start firing, rather than looking forward to seeing how many goals our new main man might grab. That's not a good starting point for Operation Break into the top 4.

In short, it's very Everton and it's a bit odd to go out of your way to defend the club for doing what they often do.

It's easy to keep making the same point Ad nauseam but unless your an ITK who do you know who we tried to sign.And I'll ask the same question.Name three CFs who could have realistically signed?

I don't need to know who exactly we tried to sign, or how many we tried to sign, to be able to say they failed in signing one.

Our main requirement. Not signed. They failed at that job. Fans aren't very happy. It's pretty basic.

The name a player game you keep pulling out like a stubborn child is not at all necessary. It's as simple as the above.

There is three very realistic players we could of signed that in my opinion would of been capable of leading the Everton front line.

Well Leipzig was a flash in the pan in my opinion. A lot of players are interested in the premier league.

Whilst it's realistic to suggest at this stage we can't attract the elite, we can attract the next level down and the three I named are very realistic for Everton.

Giroud's wife says no.Werner a target man under 6 foot tall? And I imagine your referring to Bas Dost,do you know we didn't bid for him?are you a real ITK?
