No I agree, I come on here because I like the differing opinions. I was finding it really tedious though, and I'm a nightmare for getting sucked in to the debate so i thought I'd check out for a bit.

Do we not employ people at good wages to identify and negotiate deals based upon needs identified by the Manager and DoF? Perhaps they could have given us the benefit of their vast knowledge given the club pays them to travel and attend matches to scout players, while as you accurately acknowledge we do not.

As @Azza's well-researched post quoted below shows, the manager was clear in identifying what was required over a month ago publicly and our recruiting department let him down.
