We'll find out at the end of August.
What we can say even at this stage though is that we have a lot of money about to come in from player sales.
Have matters moved swiftly for once in a summer? Yes. That is t be welcomed. But the overall financial health of the club under new ownership will be determined once and for all after we know what's gone and what's come in and what the balance is.
If we sold Joel and Stek for 50m and then signed Pickford for 30m people would still complain about net spend.
In fact, being more realistic, we have got more money than we are apparently spending on Sandro... net spend doesn't mean not improving the club and, in fact, a good business probably wouldn't throw loads of money at something if they don't have to!
I've long said this.Lads its not about net spending, positive or negative but to have good management and better squad in the end.Finances are for the accountants, football on the pitch is for us - the fans. You can have £200m net spend and less balanced and overall weaker squad.
What's your working out?
If someone else is claiming this is the summer of massive spending and we've arrived then that should be countered or there's going to be a massive let down.so why dont you wait until then before casting judgement?
...maybe, but that looks pretty light considering fees like £30M for a GK with 22 PL games under their belt are being agreed.Lukaku 70m
Barkley 20m
McCarthy £15M
Deulofeu £12M
Niasse £8M
McGeady £2M
