I had the same at about 10am this morning. Got ‘confirming availability’ for standing tickets for one of the Wembley shows for 10-15mins then ‘something went wrong’ and kicked out to have to queue again.
Only 172,000 in front of me now🤦🏻‍♂️

I get supply and demand but ticket master take the pi55 altogether.. what you were quoted would have been "VIP backstage meet the band" prices not that long ago now it's just a regular standing price..
 
I find them to be highly overrated. There's no way those whiny Manc bastards can be compared to The Beatles, as some of their fans like to do. Liam seems alright, but Noel comes across as a greedy Tory bellend.

Yeah that's the issue with legal cases like this isn't it, they'll just stall and stall and stall
 
Queued for Edinburgh ones. 5 hours and I get to the front. For a split second there we some available individual seats and then absolutely nothing. As far as I could tell the tickets remained at the original price. Upping it to 350 in some venues is insane
 

It'll be horrible. The worst type of LAD, now old enough to know better, coke-and-lagered up to the eyeballs, shouting along to their lowest common denominator terrace chants, trying to relive the glory days they never had, and little scrotes who've wanked off to Green Street too many times doing the same. They should probably put defibrillators in every toilet cubicle just to be on the safe side.

Live music is in a pretty bad way from a consumer perspective. As you say, dynamic pricing absolutely stinks and I wouldn't be surprised if Live Nation doesn't have big stakes in the major labels, or vice versa. It's just one big monopoly and the fans are the losers. And they need to get control over the ticket touts and the huge profits they're making.

Did you see what just happened with Chappell Roan.? Cancelled 3 European dates this week (literally days before) presumably so she can prepare for next weeks VMAs. But fans will have bought these tickets before she got massive and will now be in a bum fight for tickets at the replacement gigs, which will also probably be at 5 times the price. Also many will have lost money on transport and hotels. I'll give Chappell the benefit of the doubt and say the decisions were out of her hands, but either way she'll get the backlash for it. Saw one TikTok video of a British girl who had tickets for the Paris gig and also Taylor Swift at the Austrian concert cancelled over the terrorism threat, and she reckons she's over a grand out of pocket. That's probably a months wages
