Obama or McCain?

McCain got spanked.

That he did.

The country most definitely said tonight that it wanted a change and it got one.

I'll be interested to see how things go over the next four years but for quite obvious reasons, I'm not anywhere near optimistic. Perhaps it's because I live here whereas most of you won't have to live under a Obama Administration.

Perhaps his first order of business will be to clean house of the corrupt Democrats who allowed the credit crisis to manifest itself by blocking Republican efforts to further regulate Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

I mean after all, he said he wants to be a uniter, not a divider (where have I heard that one before?)

Frankly (pun intended), I don't see a chance in hell of that happening but it was fun to think about.

The fact is that the majority of your countrymen also are quite excited about living under an Obama administration.

Judging by the actual results, it clearly shows how much the citizens have rejected 8 years of GW and not forgetting 2 wars.

A messsage therein for Gordon Brown.

One of the key issues many Americans inside America fail to understand is their influence on the rest of the world.

We all want change, as much as America does, we've lived under a Bush administration for 8 years and suffered the consequences of a failed foreign policy and a failed economic policy too.

We too will live the consequences of an Obama Administration such is the omni-presence of American influence globally, its' allies and enemies alike.

I'm glad Obamas won, he seemed more like the peoples man than McCain. That said, I must say McCain wasnt a bad candidate either. Shows what sort of people were up for the last election, Bush and Kerry - both jokes.

Watched part of his speech when I got in last night.

Almost brought a tear to the eye.

Thanks for that, America.

The Inaugeration is on the 20th of January? Doesn't give Bush long to consolidate the dictatorship...he better get cracking.
