Old Everton Pictures

Don't know if that was the game but it may be Sheff Utd away. If so does anyone remember the 2-2 draw when we were 2-0 down. Not for the football but for the aggro v Police. The police were arresting anyone for swearing even in songs and it was getting ridiculous. It got too much and the fans kicked off on the police and battered them in our end. My mate got hit in the head by a full can of beer and split it open and was in a St Johns Amulance prefab getting treated and he said loads of coppers in there cursing scousers and one had a rib sticking out. Just checked and it was the 74/75 season with Mick Lyons and Mick Buckley scoring.
it was deffo, Sheff Utd, year after they made the lads on the ordinary go out of the turnstiles one at a time, as they were keeping everybody else back, bit of revenge from the police, must of thought we were going to get a hiding outside with no escort , there had been murder before the kickoff, and all the home fans were outside, didn't work out that way ;)

Correct me if wrong but I am assuming that photo was at the Rumania game as I believe it was Tommy Wrights only game. Not sure like just trying to rattle my brain.

No he played in the classic with Brazil - had an excellent game, too. I've got the whole game on a video - Bally was England's best player on the day, followed by Moore with Tommy not far behind him. MoM by a mile, though, was Rivelino.
