Tommy Jackson was in the photo wasn't he?...I remember going to that game. As well as Alan Ball and Bryan Hamilton, we had other interest with Dave Clement who scored a penalty and Tommy Jackson.

Won a Championship medal for 84/85. Played games in the ECWC that year too. A real character and on his day absolutely brilliant. He produced the finest display I've ever seen from any winger in an evening game at Ipswich. There were only about 1,000 Blues there that night but they were privileged.Terry Curran believe it or not kept Trevor Stephen out of our team.... til injury - played in the semi final v Southampton -

Tricky got off to a slow start as new players sometimes do - Curran claimed he was plying with a slight knock which affected his game - the rest is history.......Hi Joey,
my recollection was that Trevor Steven started the season as a new signing, got injured about October, Alan Irvine replaced him, but Trevor couldnt get back in when fit, Curran was a total flop when signed on a permanant deal.
