You never stated that on Terry Curran - Sharpy stated his knees nearly went waiting for a cross to come in as Terry a terrific dribbler always beat the same man twice sometimes.....- also Terry had his famous somersault when he scored - if I remember rightly it took ages to see that somersault in a blue shirt - he did a good job on loan , but he was honest when signing after a few games he got a bad injury that never really cleared up ......he played with it at first hence his dip in form , tricky Trevcame in , and th rest is history......
....didn’t Peter Beagrie do somersaults? He must’ve been frustrating to play up top with.

Bloody frustrating Eggs,a lot of ability Beagers but unfortunately it was never harnessed correctly, number of times he would beat his man not once but thrice everyone would be screaming for him to sling a cross in then he would take the full back on again and lose it!!

...absolutely, and a decent dig on him when he cut inside. I often describe some players as ‘complicated’ and Beagrie is a good example of that. As you say, Dario, if that ability was harnessed so that he was ‘uncomplicated’, he’d have been a much more effective footballer.
Johnny Morrissey, dip a shoulder, get half a yard and whip brilliant crosses in. Uncomplicated and so effective.
