....if I remember, Harvey also scored the night we beat West Brom to win the league in 1970. Some atmosphere that night, one of those occasions where there was constant mist in the floodlights from the full house crowd. Magical memories.

Heres the only clip available...and no goal build up but it what a cracker it was. I'll never forget that night ...my late big bro took me as he did when he was home from working in London (which he made sure was regularly !).
I was there with all members of family and friends - Goodison rocked that night - All parts of the ground chanted - Fantastic night and squad!
He used to stand on the keepers toes on corners, how would Tim cope with that now gives me a shudder down my spine even Westy, and Labby used to push him out of the way!
...if I remember rightly we didn't actually play that well, it was hard work until Harvey scored that screamer. You're right, though, it took a terrific squad of players to win the league at that time considering the proper quality at the likes of Leeds and Man Utd.
