Thank God no photos of our player Kean lap dancing party hit the press........If a photo like that got to the Press nowadays the players involved would have been slaughtered.
Okay I give in,Sorry mate I wasn’t clear enough! I just meant linked in that specific game.
Only played for us (Fortuna) for one season. Made a lasting impression though. Scoring ten goals in that time. Most memorable being the hattrick against PSV at home, finishing off all hopes they might have had left of winning the title and a derby winning goal away to our arch rivals Roda Kerkrade.....Farrington signed for Norwich soon after. I think he might be a special player for @Dutch Toffee.
Great finish from Bernie, definitely his finest moment in a blue shirt. Frighteningly, that's Rod Belfitt in the background so no surprise that we couldn't hang on to the lead Bernie gave us, losing 2-1 with the winner being a magnificent goal from Clyde Best. I think it was in the middle of 6 consecutive defeats for us and you knew you were struggling when even the perennial soft touch that was West Ham could beat you at home.25 November 1972 Bernie Wright lunges forward to meet a cross from John Connolly and score against West Ham

That exactly. This I reckon was when we first tried to replicate the RS. They had signed Keegan from Scunthorpe and we thought we could do similar with another "rough diamond" who in reality was an absolute turd.Think he did, Walsall in the cup at Goodison?
Mark Walters playing for Villa. His middle name was Everton! Sorry mate, I did say it was tenuous! Thanks for playing.Okay I give in,
whats the tenuous Everton link from this game?
