Yes they were similar underated stocky players who's footwork made up for their lack of pace their crossing was brilliant - Moggsy had the edge imo as he lasted a longer duration , and scored vital goals, He was so hard - If Bally or Kendall got hit hard by a Leeds player or a notorious dirty player from another side they would give Moggsy the nod , and he would deal with them the first chance he got, his favourite trick was to hit his marking fullback hard as early as he could - never get away with it now but it was the game when Men were Men. and the Refs waved play on!lol....John Robertson came along later and was very similar to Morrisey. Robertson scored the winning goal in a European Cup Final and Morrisey got some important ones for us. Not many full backs kicked Johnny Morrisey for fear of getting worst back.
