Old Everton Pictures

My Dad always said that when DT ran onto that through ball at Wembley all the Blues knew he would score because he used to do it so often, just like this picture shows. My dad would have loved this thread lads!!!
And for any young blues in here the letters on the white wall were to show the half time scores from around the country. Who needs text alerts haha.
The quiet anticipation waiting for the scores at half time :)

Do you know I seen many away fans gather there as their main end for chanting instead of the park end terracing as it was so vast and had cover-ironically one of the only parts of the ground I never stood or sat at -It did hold a vast amount of people for many of a year - on a few occasions Goodison held 70,000 +!

I was at a few of those games, unbelievable.

My Gran who lived off Luxmore Road could hear the cheers when we scored!

Can you work out whom signed, must admit I found it difficult.
They look like facsimile reproduction ones - I n my time I have lost an Original 1968 Alan Whittle autograph he was stood at the five ways roundabout - as a youngster in the home coming crowd news flew around a reserve player was signing autographs, and how was I to know he was to become a goal scoring machine - I got it but must have dropped it on the bus home - Then by chance bumped into big Nev in Landundno after his playing days ashamedly lost that before I got home as well - too many beers -Doh - I got his book signed though!
