Old Everton Pictures

I remember him as the one that got away he was very fast, great striker, but unfoturtunately hit the Woodwork too many times his goal tally would have been higher he would have never been sold, and ended up at the red lot banging them in for fun!

didn't he get sold, along with whittle and another fullback due to the Holly Lodge Schoolgirl Scandal.

I've just looked back at the gates from around then and even though I went the games I can't believe how low they were, down to 13,000 for some Saturday games. But our away numbers were always good. We must have just got wore down and used to it, dark times for football and the country as a whole.
Remember them days sitting on a bar in the street end the attendance
would be shown on on the scoreboard to the cries of "there's more of us than that"

My two favorite Everton players ever. So Ill agree with Sheeds.
In Sheedy's book he reckons he just knew where Inchy was going to run into the area easy to slide him a ball too!
Stated it was so sad when he had that big injury reckons Andy Gray would not have played that much - as Inchy was on fire scoring before that injury!
He claimed he was the best forward of the three!
