Great find that Joey. Looks like they are filling in bomb craters! The one and only Kop, reaching up into the sky and no roof then. A wild and windy perch for many reasons. Roof went on soon after this pic but came down in early eighties. Though it's not in any history books I can tell you it was wild Wolves fans who first started to dismantle the roof when they got up there and ripped metal sheets off and hurled them at the unfortunates underneath. A crazy game in the 1976-77 season. Luckily I was in the east paddock that day lol
