Early days. But you never know.
This team at present isn't going to lose that many matches. There's a different feeling about this team. Nobody expects us to win anything. But keep our top 14-15 players fit and who knows.
For all the gamblers out there........we are now about 18-1 to win the league. That will drop again if we beat Liverpool.........We were anything from 80-1 to 150-1 before the season started. The rs and Man City are firm favourites. But the bookies are starting to fear us........a little.
Ps......As for DCL......I've a little invested in him winning the golden boot. So it's every league goal counts. Let's hope he stays fit.

Can't remember us being fancied for a title. 62 / 3 - Spurs; 69 / 70 - Leeds / City / Liverpool & so on.

Got a feeling in my water that we're in for the top four - of course we'll drop points but, this season, just feel that all the fancied teams are going to be dropping them too.

That was one fantastic building sadly burnt down as a ciggerettes was accidentally dropped under the wooded floors the solid cast iron structures were decimated .......fans think the final,were at the Cystal,Palace football ground not by the great exhibition pavilion when we were a power in invention plus major industries ........it would have lasted forever only one flaw the wooden floor wit little gaps in the beams ......

Bradford comes sadly to mind.

I love the pics taken from that angle. Remember all the photographers hovering at the half way line at the toss of the coin waiting to see which way we would kick.
Then an undignified scramble by the guys racing to get the best spec, cameras swing around their necks and so on.

That was the period where Bobby Robson used to have Mills man-marking Ball all game. Shankly did a similar thing with Ian Ross.
