I remember being stood in the ground (Goodison Road) in about 64/65 and getting threatened by a huge bloke that he'd punch my f***ing lights out if I didn't stop criticising big Joe. Needless to say, I kept my trap shut!
Joey, I think that left side of Pejic-Dobson-Thomas was by far the best in England at the timeOh, for a classy central box to box midfielder like Dobbo now -

We should have won a trophy .......Joey, I think that left side of Pejic-Dobson-Thomas was by far the best in England at the time
Norwich and that's a very young fit not fat Steve Bruce marking Gray. Was having a clear-out earlier and found this photo down the back of an old cupboard. I took the pic way back in the days when we were good... 1984/85 Season I believe, a few days after the Bayern Munich game; no doubt someone can correct me on that. It's not the most exciting photo, and it's pretty scratched up, but as far as I can recall I've never uploaded it any place before, so should be the first time seen on here.
cannot believe how empty the ground is, only days after beating Bayern Munich and a couple of weeks from being crowned championsNorwich and that's a very young fit not fat Steve Bruce marking Gray.
Dobson was pure Everton class.Joey, I think that left side of Pejic-Dobson-Thomas was by far the best in England at the time
