Try to do my best mateBrilliant pic Joey.
John McCormick, Tony Taylor and Gerry Queen for Palace, not as captioned. Looks like from the 3-1 Everton win in August 69. Mel Blyth put Palace ahead in front of the suspiciously exact attendance of 50,700. It was Palace’s first ever away game in the top division.
My first Palace kit, that one....I really liked that kit. Palace have had some good strips over the years.
Lovely photo Joey, thanks.Andy King, Duncan McKenzie and Anders Limpar talk at the Everton Former Players Foundation 10th birthday dinner at Goodison Park - DM looks horrified lol

The great Goodison gate "fiddle"!!went on until the old lady became all seater!!!Yeah, that attendance figure tickled me as well.
Shame Anders didn't stay longer,I believe he wanted to,I think he had a bit of a fall out with big Joe,I remember being at QPR I think it was, Anders switched off, didn't track back and "his man"waltzed past and they scored from it, Joe subbed him and they both looked like words were exchanged,I loved him,he had such great feet, sharp of mind and fantastic ability.I didn't clock it was Limpar. All 3 brought smashin' memories to me. These lads had far more flair than
anyone at present.
I'm not surprised. Andy's left his knife and fork crossed on his plate.Andy King, Duncan McKenzie and Anders Limpar talk at the Everton Former Players Foundation 10th birthday dinner at Goodison Park - DM looks horrified lol
