Old Everton Pictures

I seem to remember that Johno, whittle and a fullback whose name escapes, me were all moved on pretty sharpish as a result of the Holly Lodge School Girl Scandal
btw they were all over 16 so no 'real' bad shennanigins, just a bit risqué for the time and the old fashioned Catt.
I think the full back was archie styles.

1970 / 1985 = dead heat.
1963 = a neck
1987 = half a length.

dead heat = tie break required. so we change sports / analogies and go to snooker.

best of 39 frames.

1985 =20
1970 =19

1970 would score a bag load of 147's, but 1985 would win the close games, by a snooker or one colour 53-49

Decision: 1985
Reason: They hated losing a bit more.

given 1 go in the tardis I would go back to watch 1969-70... better music and proper beer.

and why not...cue barry norman music.

We had great music every home game 1983-85 Degs;)lol

Snooker can be boring, Alan Ball was so special,so I still have fonder memories of that 69/70 footballing side it's ashame they fell apart the Mexico World Cup seen many of our players come back injured or tired?
No doubting it the 80's team went on longer to win more things two different styles of teams making it hard to judge, let's just say we need a team like those to win anything nowadays!
