.......Morrissey and Charlton in the same pic. Great find. Morrissey apparently being the 1st name in Charlton's 'little black book'. It doesn't look like Jack's eyes are on the ball, but Morrissey was as tough as any defender.
I spoke with Johnny a couple of months ago. I tried to talk him into doing an interview for my book but sadly declined due to the fact his career was another time. We spent 45 minutes together talking about his former team mates I had actually interviewed as he was very interested in what they were up to these days

....he was a really underrated player, Morrissey. History says we pinched him from the reds when Shankly was on holiday. Sounds a strange character in respect of his reluctance to discuss footy. Think he did ok for himself in the property game and his lad played a few games for us. Very similar to John Robertson who played for Forest when they won the European Cup.

.....classic Harvey pose in the background. The bandiest legs, no wonder he rarely hit a straight shot. Top player, though.

Colin Harvey, absolutely marvellous player, saw him hit a winner in a 2-3 win at West Ham in 74 that was unstoppable. Total gentleman and as blue as they come... The White Pele !!

Princess Margaret in 1966, and the Queen Mother, then Duchess of York in 1933

The Queen, who, as we know has to turn up at all sorts of stuff from A to Z She has no Interest in what so ever and who like Her Dad and Gdad had this supposed to be big on duty thing going on
Has never been to a Cup final ( except the Bobby Moore one in 66 which was sort of mandatory ) since being disrespected by the rs who sang god save our gracious TEAM instead of Queen.
nothing changes, then as now
