Brighton match report(in two parts) from their programme for the following game after a 4-3 defeat at Goodison in December 1980,does anybody remember being at the game? I was a bit surprised at how low they said the crowd was (I was only a kid at the time,but I can remember being at this game with my Dad),I know our crowds did dip that low in seasons to come,but I don't remember them being as low as this in 1980? Maybe it's a misprint as the excellent Everton results site has a figure that's 4000 higher than that.

I was there. :D As you say crowds were low then, but not that low, I think it is a misprint.
