Everton squad 1933
Harry Makepeace's medal from 1906. Capped both for football and cricket for England. Later became coach.
Whilst trying to take my mind of the dreadful match I decided to see the 1933 final programme. Disappointing tbh. No teams mentioned and a picture of Charles Buchan.
Incidentally the final was played in April. The other pics just followed on from there, you know how it goes. Once you visit the Everton collection it's hard to leave. 
Couldn't tell you precisely, but pre 1920s certainly. Current Bullens not yet built and houses on what is now the Gwladys upper. Shame the resolution is [Poor language removed] in the picture, but can't see any cars on the surrounding roads either.

they usually all were, so it's a safe-ish bet, bought on the never never, like as not, last for years I bought one 2nd hand for a tenner and sold it on for the same, just before those buggy things came out.
Why did they have the area behind the goals shaped like that?
I'm not sure what match this was but a very interesting a photo angle of Goodison Park.
