Yep as I stated Sharpy blamed the whole team including himself........we should have won easy .....
Also, while the title was still in our hands, the RS had been top after every round of games since the end of March, so that's not quite the same as leading all this time. Also, the previous weekend we were 2nd on goal difference, as we couldn't beat Forest, this meant we went into the Oxford game 2 points behind.

Also, for a while, West Ham could also claim to have it 'in their hands' as with their points deficit and games in hand (they had many) they could have been top. But games in hand aren't points. I think the real pity was the RS beating Chelsea as, if they had lost, our final game vs the Hammers would have been a league title decider.
