Excellent pic of Palace all time appearance record holder big Jim Cannon, played between 1973 - 1988. Scored ( and booked) on his debut v Chelsea. Don't recognise the Blues - Duncan McKenzie? Inchy?

It's fantastic mate, there's loads about club at that particular time, being selfish the era I "GOT" Everton. This looks excellent, well found.
Reading it now, it brings it all back Martin Murray - completely forgot about him. It's fantastic mate, there's loads about club at that particular time, being selfish the era I "GOT" Everton.
The away end was a brilliant sight mate. I was in the home stand behind Reidy's head in that photo with late dad and Madame Allezlesbleus. I celebrated like I was in the St End. TBF the Spurs fans around me took it very well indeed although there were quite a lot of Blues in there. Not so many jumped up for the first goal but loads did for the second!!!Yeah what a night, really sends goose bumps everywhere when you look at a picture like that and remember the day.
Allez..spot on ..Band of Brothers..
Of course our celebrations when he scored meant we didn,t see the players reactions..
