Old Everton Pictures

I think I'm on that pic somewhere. I was standing in the Goodison Road Paddock with me da down at the GSE end of the ground. In other words, just in line with where Hunt unleashed his shot into the top corner.....
Only stood in that part of the ground three times...all derbies. Lost the Charity Shield match depicted here. Lost 3-0 when Sandy Brown scored that diving own goal. But best of all was in 1967 in the cup....what a night.
The Charity Shield game was still a very memorable occasion to see the three trophies after a very special summer.
And I felt better a few days later when Ball put two past Liverpool to win 3-1 in the league. Most blues recall that as Ball's match but I cannot recall who scored our other goal. No doubt somebody will fill me in.
Sandy notched at the right end I believe mate:)

You may well be correct. However have a look at the view of the street end in the background of the 1979 team picture on the second to last page of this thread. It is not criss-cross like the one in the background of Hunt and Wilson. And look at Wycombe Toffee's avatar. They definitely went towards Park End first but that photo might have been taken as they turned away from Park end towards Bullens.
