Born in 1965 Robbie Wakenshaw. Robbie won the FA Youth Cup with the Toffees, He went on to have spells at Carlisle, Crewe, Rochdale etc, Scored at Goodison at the Street End against Manchester United.

1998 - Local media reports claimed that former EFC Chairman (but still EFC owner) Peter Johnson was on the verge of selling his shareholding in Tranmere Rovers after pressure from the FA to do so by the end of year. Johnson was also said to be in negotiations to sell EFC.
1997 - Everton's 18 year old striker Danny Cadamarteri was rewarded for his breakthrough into the 1st team squad with a new 4 & 1/2 year contract, that according to local media, saw his weekly wage rise from £300 a week to £5000 a week.
1984 - Everton 3-4 Chelsea. EFC narrowly lost a seven goal thriller to Chelsea & dropped to 3rd, despite 2 goals from Graeme Sharp (both pens) & 1 from Paul Bracewell. This would be EFCs last defeat until May 1985, a huge 28 game unbeaten run leading them to the title.
Dec 21, 1963 - Everton 4-0 Man Utd. The Champions thrashed Man Utd at Goodison to provide some pre-Christmas cheer for EFC fans. Derek Temple, Dennis Stevens, Roy Vernon & Brian Harris were all on the EFC scoresheet.
Dec 21, 2019 - Everton appointed Carlo Ancelotti as their new manager on a 4 & a half year contract. Ancelotti’s time was largely during the pandemic-era, but he did lift EFC out of trouble & into mid-table safety during his 18 months at the club.
Dec 21, 1985 - Coventry City 1-3 Everton. A pre-festive away win for Howard Kendall’s Blues at Highfield Road. Two goals from Gary Lineker & 1 from Graeme Sharp delighted the travelling support.
