I was a bit too young to remember, after doing the double in the League games that season it must have been hard to lose the semi final against them.
..it wasn’t so much about losing, it was Tommy Booth scoring in the last minute.
Funny that point you make about beating City twice in the league because we thumped West Brom twice ahead of the ‘68 Cup Final. I remember Brian Labone saying it’s very unusual to beat a team 3 times in a season.
