Still is or has been lately - penalties now are not life bans ..... harsh, but true ......

The Kay one is more common as it happened nearly 50 years later, no 'agenda' here. Just like matches/incidents from the 60s are far more well-known than ones from the 1910s, regardless of whether they were filmed or not.
