….great pic, Joey. Thomas Lane on the right, not much has changed from that view. Outside that sweet shop was my bus stop to school in the early and mid-70s.
Thought I recognised it but got to go look on google maps when you gave me Thomas Lane. Grandparents lived not to far down from here by Dovecot Baths.

Round Oak Steel works, Brierley Hill, Staffs, bloke employed to take free beer round to the factory workers to stop them getting dehydrated while working in the furnaces. Imagine that today
