….Liverpool Olympia (next to The Grafton on West Derby Rd), opened in 1905 as an indoor circus and theatre. It never realised a profit and in 1948 was re-named the Locarno Ballroom. It became a Listed building in 1975 and is now The Olympia and used for boxing and wrestling events;

….nor me. Seems like the promenade was opened in 1950, prior to this the site was used to take the ‘spoil’ from the Queensway tunnel development of the 1920s. This is Otterspool Shore, 1900;

Far end looks a little like Oglet shore, bit further on from Otterspool, Oglet shore is still there near the airport
