If memory serves the one on Walton Hall Ave was a brick built building.….I think so, although there might also have been one on Walton Hall Ave.
A nightclub - my niece met her husband there - There was a good slot about it on The Footage Detectives on TTP - on every Sunday 5pm - great viewing for us oldies lolDid that become the paradox?

Remember the bonfire night in the 80s,just arrived to see the fireworks when the boathouse went up in smoke.…yep. It’s still a lovely park, we take the grandkids for a stroll now and then.
Liverpool Corporation parks department in its pomp in the 1960s & 19870s - was rated the 2nd best parks department in the UK only Edinburgh ahead of it -The state-of-the-art nursery in Allerton - I visited twice was the main reason plus its wonderful parks - My old Foreman who worked there in his youth claimed the Parks Superintendent way back travelled around his men in all the parks weekly on a push bike even handing wages out in pay-packets ......…yep. It’s still a lovely park, we take the grandkids for a stroll now and then.
I vaguely remember the Tower gardens - it was destroyed by fire, top pop bands played there in the early 1960s including the Beatles - Rolling Stones etc etc My older brother went to these concerts ....

I went in my teens with my mates & paid to go into the battlements' fort on the beach - they were like Dungeons - in those days if you went for a swim on New brighton beach you just went through the motions lol
