I love Jelavic mate but I say things how they are he's ****e right now, has been all season, not scored in the PL in about 13 games and fluffs simple chances/constantly offside, and for a team looking at top 4/6 we need a better striker as Vic is hit and miss.
Saha was just as bad as him, same with Anichebe couple of seasons ago and still got criticized for it.

On a positive note it sounded like the travelling Toffees were in fine form, and Hibbert sitting in with the blues, great stuff.

Goal defo shouldn't have been given.

Dowd was clearly just watching the Smith lad and didnt see all the other stuff.

Which is what it comes down to. Whatever either side deserved, the referee isn't there to hand it to them outside of the rules of the game. Even if Dowd isn't watching it, the linesmen should have flagged it between them.

Steven Broadbent: "Credit to Tony Philliskirk, left Furman and Smith off and gave Oldham a massive boost when they arrived. Out-mastered Moyes."

hmm? they've been injured since the liverpool game and weren't fit, that's why they didn't start. why do BBC post such bellwhiff comments?

Wrong again.

Oldham didn't deserve anything out of that match.

But keep telling yourself that to make yourself feel better.

Bill he isn't wrong mate.

We should have seen it out. No doubt about it.

And we played the better football. But they had the same, if not more chances than us.

You get shot down because you're talking s***e.

Jelavic is a far superior footballer to Naismith.

I couldnt care if he can pass a ball better his jobs a striker and he aint scoring,

let me ask you were people neg repping and so understanding of howard not doing his job when he went 15 odd games without a clean sheet? I highly doubt it.

Does anyone doubt even for a second that we´ll do these at Goodison? We should rest Baines for that match though, let Oviedo play left back. Baines is playing to many games at the moment.

Like I said (and it appears it needs to be said again) but is anyone here really going to make an ass out of themselves and say that had we won the match, that Oldham were hard done by and really deserved something out of that?

Thought not.
