What a horrible day. I had 200 pound on Everton to win. After today i will never gamble again. i put 90 pound on arsenal and not only did my team lose, I lost my money more importantly. So I put 200 pound on Everton to gain that money back and watching the game, The last 10 mins took ages. You could see the goal was coming. Last 6-7 mins Everton settled and tried to defend a single goal against a team that could only hurt them in the air. So what do they do....back off and let them pump balls in the box.

90th minute one of their long balls reach Howard and instead of taking the ball and slow the game down, he limps it on first touch like it was a back back. Then 92th minute Distins has the ball and instead of just playing it safe...he lumps it straight to them. I felt sick when I saw the last corner as it was clearly going in.

You still did better than us and will finish them of next game. But all week the media has been going on everton aint the type of team that can be beat by long balls from league 1 side and how Moyes team is full of character. Truth is you are just like Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool.....4 teams who try to out bottle each other

the media know absolutely jack **** mate. Most of the goals we've conceded have been from set pieces/headers. We have a keeper who never commands his box and two centre halves who aren't particularly tall. There is a reason why we've barely had a clean sheet all season and that is because defensively we have wilted virtually every time a team has started to put an ounce of pressure on us. It's been pretty embarassing this season tbh, because we have conceded virtually every time an opposition has had an attack against us.

No contact on the replay, looked like a foul on Howard though.

If it had been halfway through the second half the referee, any referee, would have disallowed the goal for obstruction of the goalkeeper.

If a ref dislallowed one of our goals for this then there'd be uproar on here, similar to there was after Anichebe was penalised at West Ham.

Very little there so justify obstruction of the keeper, looks like they're both jostling, then as the ball comes in Howard gets clear but nowhere near the ball.

Oh, and watch Fellaini with his arms on his man, just as much a foul as anything on Howard if you're complaining about the ref.

I can see the logic of putting Duffy on for the closing stages but he's rusty and he let Smith run and attack the corner.

It was a difficult game because of the pitch and Oldham's physical approach. I did expect us to get a third though. It's difficult to know what's going on with Jelavic. Maybe, like Torres, he's too tense and trying too hard?

when I disagree with people I just debate it mate cant be arsed with the repping crap, people slate howard for not keeping clean sheets for 15 odd games and claim he costs us games, yet when jela does the exact same thing in principle and doesnt score in that amount of time he "tries his best" makes you wonder do people actually understand football.
