..the team was set up to get to 60mins and then have a go. Unsworth used the same tactic at Chelsea. I said to Mrs Eggs before half-time that DCL will come on at 60mins. He did and everything went pear shaped.

I think this might be a sign of things to come. Park the bus in every game, ride our luck and hope we get something.

C - create chances

I’m starting to wonder if Koeman has destroyed them. I mean, all these talented players and constant smashing defeats, it’s bizarre. Do they all hate each other? Is something going on behind the scenes?

I’ve watched the games and it’s clear what they need to do, but why aren’t they doing it?

The commentators even said you could hear Unsworth shouting them to close them down “sprint sprint” and they bloody weren’t..!!

The lack of communication between them is embarrassing, the basic mistakes are embarrassing, tactics have at best looked disjointed and at worst naive. The lack of urgency and desire is disgusting, the half arsed challenges are a disgrace to this football club.

Yup, it's been like that all season. Once one goes in, you just know there's another 2 or 3 to follow. There's definitely something rotten with the player mentality - we've been weak in that area for years now, but we seem to have hit rock bottom. The inability to score goals just makes matters much worse.

saying that first half at least you couldn't fault the players for effort and sticking to a game plan so I suppose that's a start.

2005-2006 season we were dumped out of Champions League into Europa League then dumped out of that and we actually started the Premier League season worse than we've started this season so my only hope is we can take heart and recover from our current position as we did back then. It feels just the same though.

It's like, even when I played football at a real dog turds level we were told that when you concede you keep it tight and try to calm the opposition down a bit. Know what I mean? Keep it simple, get your confidence & shape back, sit in for five, and then start playing your game again.

Really basic stuff, players on 80 bag a week should know it.

yeah,did actually see that few days ago about the bad league start,8 defeats from 10 games,1 win/1 draw and only scoring 3 goals supposedly,which i dont remember that at all lol-havent even checked the 3 goals thing at all,probably all for obvious reasons
