…absolutely. Our signings should be innovative and progressive, even on a minimal budget but we pay the going rate for mediocrity. We’re all made up having Ndiaye but he’s not exactly been grasped from obscurity and he is about what we’re paying for him.

What exactly do you think is the going rate for an average or above average premier league player?

It seems you've got some kind of memory issue as I've said several times that i dont play computer games.

You've actually got the information online should you choose to determine that:

£9mil-£15mil is the going rate for an average starting premier league player.

Which of course it is not.

You also stated that having no money to spend on players is the fault of the DOF. Not to mention slating him for 'free' loan signings.

You seem to live in an ivory tower.

Getting younger promising players are a risk and maybe in some cases worth it, but money, FFP, PSR has killed the football i used to love. Maybe the Friedkins may deliver better commercial deals, sponsorship revenue, new ground etc, this version of football is awful in my opinion, but can't see it changing anytime soon.

Yeah I agree - for me was our best midfielder at the weekend. He’s been a great loan signing so far and if we could get him for buttons then perfect.

We don't have a budget.

Innovative and progressive is difficult when the terms we offer is nothing up front and very little for a long time.
