Anyone oppose signing him permanently for the right price?
Think he's been great , laughable that a certain poster who rates crap players like Royal and Aarons thinks he's absolutely crap .
However for the reported fee £35 million it's a no . For £15-20 million yes I would.
Looks quite solid and doesn't waste a pass that often. He is always looking for a forward pass and will attempt it if it is on.

For the right price. He looks better than most of our players because he has a good first touch and can pass. I agree with the other poster that he does have his limitations and at the end of the day, we should be looking for better players.
Saying he's been great is probably just a lack of perspective because we haven't had a player like this in a while. Saying he's crap is just wrong.
Played well today I thought
….the way we play suits him because we sit deep. The one reservation I have is if we play more expansive because Mangala is as slow as an old boat (watch Joelinton run past him in the game at Goodison).
Yep, all about the price. 15m I'd be tempted but I guess it all depends on who the new manager is.
Main thing I like about him is he isn't scared of the ball and tries to take care of it when in possession.
The current option to buy price means it's a no go but we'll see.
As things stand he's been one of Evertons better loans under Thelwell.

Hate Dyches tactics but like Mangala...makes no sense at all ???
We play deep, he doesnt need pace (he has none). Same when we used Keane at centre back it masks his weaknesses.
How can anyone want a player who isnt an anchor (but plays like one on the right of a central midfield) that simply creates a one dimensional narrative. Which they then claim to hate?
Playing this way we need warriors who can also get forward quickly on the counter, pass well (as he does) and get back into defence.
Playing on the front foot we need the midfielders to also be mobile as as soon as a ball is behind him he is out of the game.
This player needs to be upgraded, not signed. We cant go up a level with a central midfield sitter...
Yeah...decent player. I would sign him if he wasn't as old as he is as very little resale value bearing in mind the big fee he would commend

He's one of few midfielders who shoots on sight and usually on target. Also not every signing needs sell on value. As one or two have said on here, he lacks pace, so that means he can play for longer as he doesn't rely on pace.
