If Brighton are signing him he's probably quality.

Yet they've finished 9th & 16th the past two seasons despite having one of the biggest debts in the league - we finish 8th or 10th and we are crap with no good players :hayee:

Either their recruitment is a myth or Potterball is as the way some talk they are better than the likes of Leicester and West Ham despite being midtable making up the numbers.

@Saint Domingo

Imagine getting taken over by somebody worth trillions and signing Targett and Pope.

:hayee: lol lol :hayee:

tbf mate, the sensible approach is probably what we should have done a little more of. They're not world beaters but Pope is a massive upgrade on thr whopper that currently have in goal and for 10m it's a no brainer.

If they get themselves a top 10 spot, that'll be seen as progress.

Hope they get relegated though ;)

I did think this.

By the time the 2nd window happened at Chelsea/City, they were both buying top players.

They werent taking the 27 year old 3rd choice left back of a side in 14th, or two 30 year olds from a relegated side.

I'm not saying they wont improve, but it feels a long way from City/Chelsea. It also frankly feels quite a bit different to Brightons approach.

Yeah, your Pope's mean you have money for your Bruno's.

Not the worst approach, I just wanted to laugh at them.
