Odion Ighalo for £12m would be a great deal for any club. If he's the real deal, as he may seem, then Atlético have a bargain on their hands.

If he's merely a good to average player who'll contribute reasonably well then it's a fair price to play for a striker with such a record.

If he's not very good, another proverbial flash-in-the-pan, then it was worth risk taking as it's not an overly large fee in today's world.

Will be a big loss for Watford as I doubt they'll get someone who will get a similar return, and the partnership with Troy will be lost.

But it's likely if we signed him, either Besic or Dragovic would get murdered in their sleep by the other.

So did Owen Garvan, Dean Moxey, Danny Gabbidon, Paddy McCarthy, Johnny Williams, etc etc.

I've not seen him play for years I don't think. Was awesome back then but people on here tell me he's been a bit poop recently.
