I actually think that Fellainis bald and evil twin bro will be great signing for magpies. Their midfield has been screaming for his kind of player. Just watch.
Agree. I actually like him as a player, he's a bit mad, throws a tackle in and can hit a ball. £12m is peanuts if he helps keep them up.

There are worse sides than Newcastle in this league, if they get a goal scorer they'll be sound.

That is a dreadful penalty decision by the way, absolutely appalling.

All wishful thinking on my part to have villa AND the horse punchers down in the same season. Bit too much to ask.

Who you thinking?

I'd love it because I hate Newcastle away in those seats that are basically in space they're so high, but I can't see Sunderland, Bournemouth, Norwich all picking up more points than these. I might be wrong, but I think they'll stay up by the skin of their teeth, if they get someone in who scores 8-10 goals between now and may.

Hes certainly at the right club.

12million.

£3m less than Joe Allen, and I know who I'd rather have in midfield.

If he wasn't English I'd say £5-8m would be good value, but prices for English players are mad. That's almost as much as Rodwell went for both times, and Shelvey is much more accomplished. Ex-RS he may be, but he's a pretty good player.

Shelvey is very very average, pings in the odd long ranger because he is a cocky beaut who has 30 or 40 stupid shots a game, other than that he is typical english CM who runs around a lot with very little football intelligence, would possibly take him on a free but the idea of paying actual money for him is sickening

Arsenal have signed Mohamed Elneny from FC Basel.

The 23-year-old midfielder spent three years with the Swiss club, making over 90 league appearances and winning three consecutive Super League titles.

He featured 28 times in all competitions in the first half of this season, scoring six goals

Hopefully he can cover for the loss of Coquelin as we've been conceding a lot of silly goals since he got injured.

He should 'sheikh' things up a bit and sounds like he'll be brilliant in a 'pyramid' formation. Let's hope he 'Nile's' down a place in the team.......
