Got to be honest, i don't understand their philosophy, they're paying the sort of fees that could see them get world class finished products like james rodriguez and isco. The whole point of buying great youngsters is so that they're great value for money if they come off and if they don't, then you haven't blown a massive wad. With the amount of money they have they could constantly buy finished articles and not have to worry about developing and nurturing youngsters, having to stand by them whilst they make mistakes.
Giving pep all this money to buy youngsters suggests their wiling to stand by him for a long time, but if he has another shocking season like this season, how much longer can they stand by him?
